A North East engineer is hoping for an award winning night after being shortlisted in The Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
Dave Crossman, Managing Director of Black Hills Products is shortlisted in the category ‘Service Industries Entrepreneur of The Year’. The awards, which welcomed thousands of applicants this year, are due to take place in London later this month.
The Great British Entrepreneur Awards received over 5000 applications with 57 of those shortlisted being based in and around the North East. There are 12 different categories within the awards with finalists having shown great success in their field and showcasing their huge potential for growth.
The Sleekburn-based firm, Black Hills Products was created by Dave and his wife Lynsey in 2017, providing fabricated component and assembly services to the utilities and renewable energy sectors, counting Northern Powergrid and SCJ Renewables among its customers. Dave, whose career spans over 24 years in the industry, leads the team with an extensive background in design and reputation for quality solutions for clients.

The awards take place on Monday 21st November at The Grosvenor Hotel in London.
