Safety technology firm Notify has signed up the English Football League (EFL) to its newest software module.

The Newcastle based company has developed a suite of Health & Safety software that helps organisations to manage accidents, incidents and risks in the workplace.

Its latest module has seen Notify add fully customised audits, inspections and checklists to its platform’s capabilities, and the English Football League is among the first to sign up.

Formed in 1888, the EFL is made up of 72 clubs and is the largest single body of professional teams within European football. In addition to the leagues, EFL is responsible for administering and regulating the Carabao Cup and the Leasing.com Trophy, as well as reserve and youth football.

EFL chose Notify to help in a crucial area of safeguarding audits.

Alex Richards, Safeguarding Manager at EFL, said: “My team and I are required to check on safeguarding procedures across all EFL clubs.

“Notify’s platform has made the process significantly quicker and means we can now also create and track any follow up actions that might need to be taken, within the software itself.”

Notify partnered with EFL by supplying them with their Audits & Inspections software, Notify AI, which enables users to develop and share audit questionnaires that suit their organisational requirements and create audits that are intuitive for users, with full customisation over the creation of template and checklists.

Alex continued: “We need to carry out over 72 audits every season and the previous paper-based process was very cumbersome and made it hard to keep track.

“We were impressed with the simplicity and security of the Notify platform, and that we have ultimate control over the way we use the Audits & Inspections module.”

Duncan Davies, CEO of Notify, which also counts Alexandra Palace, Birmingham City University and Pinewood Studios among its clients, said: “We’re delighted that EFL have chosen to use Notify’s audit, inspection and checklist capability.

“We believe that modern, mobile technology can help simplify and accelerate Health and Safety processes and procedures within any business. Our growing number of clients across the UK and globally are using our software to help keep their employees, contractors, and even customers and visitors, safer and healthier.”
