North Shields based bowling brand, Gutterball Alley, has announced plans to revamp their Rotary Way venue.

Starting with a quarter of a million pounds invested into brand new bowling lanes, interactive darts and karaoke pods.

The slick new bowling technology has just been implemented across all 16 lanes and means that customers will have a better bowling experience with hydraulic bumpers, enhanced scoring updates and a lot less breakdowns.

As well as brand new interactive darts boards that can film your play and have fun games to test your skills. The revamp also included the introduction of two karaoke pods where you can grab the mic and sing your heart with the latest chart hits and all the iconic old school anthems.

Further investment to the site will follow hot on the heels of the new lanes – with a new look arcade section due in the new year; as well as LED crazy golf experience; VR gaming and much more to come.

General Manager, Paul Ryder, said “The revamp of the lanes is just the start of some very exciting changes coming soon.

“We’re hoping that it leads to lots of strikes for our customers, I’m currently top of our leader board but I’m wondering if someone will be able to beat my score.”

The busy bowling location boasts 16 lanes, a large arcade area; mini golf; ping pong; pool; darts; a bar; a ‘Burgers & Bains’ menu and even karaoke.

The venue will also play host to a range of family activities over the Christmas holidays – including Lego & Bowl, Snow & Bowl and Slime & Bowl. For more information head to the website.
