by | Dec 23, 2024

Intasite, a leading technology platform dedicated to streamlining safety and site access processes for safety critical industries, has showcased its innovative solutions at Big 5 Global, the world’s leading construction industry event held at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Part of a Department for International Trade mission, Intasite engaged with key industry leaders, stakeholders, and prospective clients to explore opportunities for its digital solutions in the Middle East. The team also visited Ras Al-Khaimah (RAK), a region renowned for its strategic ports, renewable energy initiatives, and thriving manufacturing sector, and attended the RAK Energy Summit, which highlights innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.

Big 5 Global draws more than 85,000 participants and 2,500 exhibitors from across 165 countries, and serves as a hub for collaboration, innovation, and transformative ideas in the construction industry.

The visit follows a significant milestone for Intasite – securing its first Middle Eastern client, The Port of NEOM, formerly known as Duba Port, which aims to be the world’s most advanced, efficient, and sustainable port. NEOM will feature cutting-edge automation and physical-digital integration, transforming global trade routes and accelerating container transportation in the region.

Intasite’s global portfolio includes prominent clients such as a Power Plant in Oman, CF Industries in Canada, along with RWE Generation and Rail Cargo in Europe.

The tech company’s platform streamlines the induction process by offering interactive safety modules accessible via desktop or mobile devices, contractor and supplier management tools, multilingual capabilities, and integration with access control systems for enhanced security and compliance.

Danielle Croce, Commercial Director at Intasite, said: “Big 5 Global has been an extraordinary opportunity for us to connect with the international construction community, showcase our innovative solutions, and learn more about the unique challenges and opportunities in the Middle East market.

“Our visit to Ras Al-Khaimah also enabled us to gain an understanding of the region’s focus on sustainability and innovation. These insights, along with our growing portfolio in the Middle East, reaffirmed the global demand for cutting-edge technology that prioritises safety, efficiency, and compliance.”
