A leading North East commercial law firm has welcomed a new director as part of its long-term growth strategy.

Experienced solicitor Richard Vaux joins PG Legal as director to bolster the firm’s operations across complex commercial and private client work. He will also support the firm in expanding from its operations with a base in Teesside, adding to its established Tyneside branch.

Richard’s father, Keith Vaux also joins the firm as a Consultant, bringing with him decades of  experience in the legal services sector. Keith joins Kevin Fletcher in a consultancy role, with both looking to support PG Legal’s expansion into Teesside, both previously having been senior partners of major Teesside law firms in their own right.

Jonathan Fletcher, PG Legal’s Managing Director said; “This is a real coup for the business as we look to grow and strengthen operations across the North East. Richard, Keith and Kevin all bring a wealth of expertise, knowledge and experience to PG Legal and their input will support our continued expansion. Each of our new appointments built their careers in the Tees region and are very much a part of its business community.”

Richard joins the firm following a successful career as director and partner at Freers Askew Bunting. His clients include developers, building and construction companies, Education Foundation Trusts, Charities, Wildlife Trusts, Incorporated Sporting Private Members Clubs, Accountants, Estate Agents and Surveyors, Laboratories, Haulage Companies, Restaurateurs, Publicans and Nightclub owners and professional landlords in a wide variety of property and business transactions.

Richard said: “PG Legal is an outstanding law firm which is undergoing an exciting time of growth and development. I am delighted to be joining at such an integral period for the company and to play a part in its long-term growth strategy. I am looking forward to growing the client base and acting on behalf of the region’s businesses and business people. The region is a hub of entrepreneurial activity and I am glad to be part of a team which fully supports this movement.

“Kevin, Keith and I are looking forward to supporting directors Jonathan and Charlotte in developing the business and building upon the foundations which they have created for the business in recent months.”
