Leading outsourced sales and marketing agency, durhamlane, has appointed two senior specialists to support its continued growth.

Phil Cording joins as enterprise account director to help drive growth of the firm’s customer base with Abigail Dodwell taking the role of senior marketing services manager to grow durhamlane’s client marketing division.

Phil joins from global product digitisation firm Digimarc, where he was account director and responsible for multiple accounts. He brings with him over 28 years’ experience in sales and business development, working for start-ups including Eyretel, which evolved via acquisition into Verint, as well as globally footprinted business’s such Nortel Networks, IPC Information Systems and NICE.

Abigail Dodwell has been appointed as durhamlane’s senior marketing services manager and will head up the firm’s burgeoning marketing services division, with a core remit of generating demand and marketing qualified leads for durhamlane’s customers, and expanding marketing services to their wider customer base.

Traditionally a specialist in sales, durhamlane has evolved over the last 5 years to offer outsourced marketing services alongside its core sales specialisms, providing an integrated solution to enterprise businesses with complex B2B offerings across the UK, Europe and North America, and connecting sales and marketing to create meaningful conversations and highly qualified new business opportunities.

September 2022 saw durhamlane’s highest marketing revenue to date with a 27% growth on the previous month. The company has also experienced 66% growth YTD in marketing revenue. It has set its sights on further growth within its marketing services division and has appointed Abigail to help drive forward its strategy and onboard new clients.

Abigail started her career in the film and media sector before moving to agency Blumilk as an account manager, where she specialised in marketing strategy and campaign and brand work across multiple sectors including utilities, infrastructure, education and leisure.

Within days of her appointment, Abigail secured financial services company, NewDay, as a new marketing client.

NewDay identified a gap in the market with its simple credit service that relies on a one time set up process with flexible payment options. The strength of its brand is reinforced as an FCA approved and highly regulated financial service.

durhamlane has been brought on board to help push the brand to new B2B customers through the creation of digital collateral and digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
