Business owners and employees across the North East are being encouraged to take part in a charity fire walk as their next team-building exercise.

A fundraising event, which aims to break records, takes place on April 30 at Newcastle Falcons rugby ground.

Danny Mitchell, who runs business and charity consultancy, Change, said: “The event already is the largest fire walk in the UK but we want to smash the record and raise huge amount of money for the many charities who are part of this awesome event.

“Anyone over 18 can sign up to take part for only £25 and they can choose which cause they want to raise funds for. Each participant will get a fantastic medal and certificate along with being part of this one-off event.”

Danny, who has worked with charities and helped bring in up to £1 million in single donations, is urging North East businesses to get involved in his latest event.

He added: “We are aiming to get over 1,400 people taking part in a world record attempt that is a bit different to the norm.

“Business owners tell me all the time that they’d walk over hot coals for their customers – well now they can try the real thing, bring their teams and raise money for some fantastic causes.”
